ISSUE 8: BORA YOON + BEN FROST
BORA YOON mangled a pilates ball; moved bowls along cowhide; fried bacon, phonated a footpump, and harmonized with a G5; whirled sound tubes; wrote with a cellphone (quill); drowned coins; played/wrestled a piano; pronounced things; and sang.
BEN FROST played piano on 3, and engineered, programmed and frosted the tracks.

The Journal of Popular Noise is a semi-annual audio magazine inspired by the traditions of pop music, printed periodicals, and the delight of a finely crafted artifact. Limited edition of 600 letter-pressed copies.
Within the package are 3 issues, each in the form of 7″ vinyl records. Every issue conforms to the same prescribed editorial structures but is composed by a different artist or group. The packaging folds out to a beautiful letter-pressed poster containing information about the Journal, the musicians, and the recording/compositional process.
